Kick - Off Meeting, May 2023

The INTEGRATE project was kicked off during a 2-day workshop in May 2023, at Fuglsøcenteret in the Mols mountains outside Aarhus.

For the first time all project partners could meet and properly kick off our new R&D project, INTEGRATE. Over two days, we focused on aligning our diverse group of participants on the project's objectives and technical details, particularly emphasizing Work Packages 3 to 5 and the methodologies for construction aggregate mapping, planning, and administration. Ensuring everyone, regardless of their background, shared a common understanding was a primary goal.

To get a real feel for what the project is all about, we visited a gravel pit. This  offered a firsthand insights into the practical aspects of our work, especially valuable for those experiencing such a setting for the first time. At the site we also vitnessed a demonstration of the Ttem instrument collecting data. 

 

 

In addition to mapping out the immediate steps for each work package, we engaged in a proactive "pre-mortem" exercise. Imagining the project had failed, we explored potential pitfalls, a strategy aimed at identifying and mitigating risks before they could manifest.

The workshop successfully established a unified foundation for our project, ensuring all team members are aligned and informed. As we progress, the insights and strategies developed during these initial days will guide our efforts toward achieving our research and development objectives.
